Plantstraws are assymmetric to allow for a variety of setups. Use either end in your plant!
Water your plant and moisten the cord before setup to kickstart the flow from vase to plant
Thread the Plantstraw using the included nylon wire. Cut off the dirty end and wash the cord before moving a used cord to a new plant
While more cord means more moisture, using 5-10 cm of cord in the soil is often enough
To minimize evaporation, place the Plantstraw around 3 cm into the soil
Refill the vase regularily, check in on your plant and adjust the setup if needed
Plantstraws come it two sizes, for plants and setups of different scale. Consider this a rough guide as the larger plantstraw can add some drama while the medium size hides away. Piling up with a rock or plant stand under your vase or plant is also an option!
Medium For pots up to 16 cm (6 in) high, or all setups with height difference up to 13 cm (5 in).
Large For pots from 11 to 26 cm (4.5 to 10 in) high, or all setups with height difference up to 23 cm (9 in).
